Here are a couple of landscape pictures. A peaceful Sunday is nearing its end and one must prepare for the work week once more.
The peace and serenity of rural Balkans is nice to the soul, yet somehow daunting as well. The nature has reclaimed what people have wrought as more and more people move to the cities. Before the collapse of the communist regime, the leader of Yugoslavia Tito, had plans to inhabit these areas. Natural movement, not hindered by the orders of a government, goes in the opposite direction.
The mountain ranges are not too forbidding in the area but we had to turn back as the road grew too rough for our rental Seat Cordoba.
