December, and another very busy year drawing to a close. On Christmas a wonderful meeting with a Least Weasel (Lumikko for you Finns) and some quality time with family. Next year I hope to do more photography and spend more time with family and friends.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone!
For over a year now, I have been slowly, but steadily, building a small series of photos. A series that I call Watercolor, as the look I aim for is a bit painterly and all to do with how water looks, what it reflects and so on.
After a whole day of rain, it is refreshing to walk in the nearest forest and just enjoy the nature slowly waking up after a long winter season. Finally it is spring.
Photo taken with a 50+ year old macro lens from Pentax ,attached to my favorite walkabout camera ,the Fujifilm Xpro1.
Summer has gone, autumn seems to change into winter terrificly fast. Life seems to travel at an ever faster pace. I guess I am living the time of life when there is just too much to do and so little time.
Work seems to be more and more hectic as well. Life going forward, but sometimes one would just like to stop and enjoy it too.
Summer is fading, making way for autumn. Going to be photographing more birds most likely in the coming weeks as migration season properly starts.
This bird shot was done with a 85mm lens, mostly used in portraits, not bird shots.
