A mist slowly evaporates as the sun slowly climbs toward zenith. All beautifully calm and the air crisp and cold.
Life of a photographer in pictures

Photo taken on a foggy day in November 2016.
A female bullfinch ravishing rowan berries before the winter proper arrives.
Winter has first arrived and now it seems gone again. Nature is poised between winter proper and autumn.
Last week we had the first snow here in Helsinki and now as I write it, it has melted away as the weather took a sudden turn for the warmer.
I have been totally immersed in my work life, as I have, once again taken a leap to another work place. Seems the time between workday and the next is way too short currently, but I have a lot of faith that the situation will get better as I get more and more into the job and learn the new people and the new things I have to be responsible for. Still a huge change. Photography has been taking a second fiddle and the writing of the blog has been totally out of my mind for the time being.
I am thinking of how to breathe more fresh air into this, probably something like a photo a day again would be good.
Took this photo with my trusty Nikon as a old lady was out for the last row of the season before winter arrived with snow, ice and coldness. A beautiful moment for sure!
How are all you doing?
and whooper swans enjoying it to the full.

End of summer and a Moose.
The Finnish Moose (also called elk) is a huge animal when met close-up. In this instance the scene was quite serene with the moose eating and me photographing.
